I have been coming to Lovash for years, and literally, in hundreds of visits, never had anything but a wonderful experience. The food is always delightful, especially the vegetarian options, and our favorite the veg pakora. Feeling indecisive, order the mixed sampler Thali for a perfect taste of the whole menu. Mohan is a kind and cheerful owner, the very definition of what the front of house should be, who takes great pride in his service and menu. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and there is always a seat for you at the Mohan's table.

FANTASTIC! I have been coming here for decades. My friend Mohan is the owner and is always very nice. The restaurant is very clean. Bathrooms are spotless. The food is fantastic and if you love Indian food without all of the heat, like me, just ask for your food to be prepared "Mild". I have never had a problem here and the waitstaff is knowledgeable. If you want a very friendly environment that is always on their game, please come! Thanks always Mohan! Daniel and Yeremiah Pictures: Samosa, Raita, Kashmiri Naan, Vegetable Korma, Chicken Masala.

I have come to this restaurant twice with my partner and was very satisfied both times. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming to queer couples, and even gave us extra chai for our takeout order with no extra charge. The food is delicious and kept well for the hour it took for us to return home. If this restaurant were closer to my home, I'd have a difficult time saving any money, as I'd want to return here at least once a week.

My family and I have been here a hand full of times and it is always such a great experience. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend the lamb chops, Korma chicken, seafood soup, all of the naan choices, and so many more things that I can’t name off the top of my head. We will be back for years to come!

Had a lovely birthday lunch earlier today with my parents! I got the chicken vindaloo as spicy as they were willing to build it!! My parents don't do as well with spice but they also dug there food. I like interior especially the red colored walls! Definitely recommend if you're on South Street and craving Indian food! Solid spot!

I visited tonight with my boyfriend after South Street Live, and everything was amazing! We ordered the Gobi Manchurian for an appetizer which was incredible! I ordered the Aloo Gobi which was a veggie dish with cauliflower & potatoes and my partner ordered lamb korma. They were both great, but the korma was stand out! Our waitress was also very kind & attentive the entire time. A fantastic experience, we can’t wait to come back (we have to try each naan)!

My fiancee and I met up with one of my childhood friends for dinner just this evening and it was excellent. The wait staff were kind, the food came out quickly, and everything was perfectly spiced. It’s a truly unique restaurant that did everything just right. Highly recommend the vegetable pakoras. Not every place does them and more importantly not every place does them as well as this place.

I went here with a friend and it had such a nice vibe. We were greeted immediately and the gentleman spoke to us on such a personal level. Everyone was so lovely— they even gave us a free appetizer:))
